Must Have Books

Expecting Better: This is my go-to book for pregnancy. Emily Oster uses her skills as an economist to disprove outdated pregnancy advice and provides the data you need to make the best decisions during pregnancy. It’s engaging, easy to read and informative.

Parenting Made Complicated: Written by a child psychiatrist, this book examines many of the more difficult decisions parents of young children are faced. The guidance provided is individualized, considering the uniqueness of individual kids. A great read.

Breaking Free of Child Anxiety : This is one of my most frequently referenced books. Lebowitz does an excellent job of coaching parents through their child’s anxiety

The Whole Brain Child: If you are looking for guidance on parenting young children, this is a must have. It is easy to read, with numerous examples to guide parents on navigating daily stressful situations in an empathetic way, building more resilient kids.
